Computer Clinic is the kind of ‘Go To’ company to call when nobody else can help. Whether it is a last minute /11th hour drama or a job that nobody else is prepared to tackle, we resolve situations other companies have deemed impossible! Day to day we are a Managed Service Provider but in reality we tackle just about everything you can think of. How do we do all this? By having seasoned IT Pros that bounce off each other and continuous upskilling.
Our team is a mixed bag of 7 with 2 ladies covering accounts & admin + 5 seasoned chaps all with different backgrounds and countries but we gel as a tight knit team. We wear what we want, work the hours we want (flexi-time) and have monthly fun Fridays (normally pizza, drinks, video games), plus wind-down nibbles & drinks at the end of every week. We work in a great spot for lunchtime walks by the river, bike rides in the hills or opposite us is the estuary where you could try your hand at kite surfing or other water sports. 5 minutes around the estuary is a surf beach too.
If you are looking for lifestyle with a wide variety of challenging but rewarding work, we will provide you with all the support you need along with your own projects to manage from end to end so you experience all aspects of the IT life cycle.
We are seeking expressions of interest from anyone who has experiences in a mixed IT support environment and welcomes the pressures that are often faced in a fast paced industry.
If you are not in NZ don’t worry as we have immigration accreditation to recruit and sponsor overseas applicants which will make the transition easy but you must have the relevant experience for this, so skill, experience and confidence is required. We operate in Ferrymead, Christchurch close to the sea. The videos below won’t win any awards but are shot on our way to work (on electric scooter) and going home along the river by bike. ABOUT THE IT COMPANY
Over the last 15 years Computer Clinic has slowly and steadily provided an increasing amount of IT services and support to a growing number of SMEs throughout Christchurch, thus gradually building up a careful and solid reputation for doing what we say, providing adaptable IT services to all customers and giving true value for money. Whilst many competitors cookie cut scalable solutions, a genuine point of difference is being able to think outside the square to find and implement clever, ingenious tailored solutions, giving businesses a cutting edge in their field.
WHAT DOES COMPUTER CLINIC DO?
Just about everything relating to IT that a SME business needs to operate!
E.g. hardware, software, systems, security, email, backups and IT support remotely & onsite.
Working as a team, you would typically:-
Adapt an IT system to align to a business’ current and future needs.
Ensure businesses are working to their fullest capacity and maximizing productivity.
Give timely advice on required changes and improvements then follow up by providing quotes with business cases, ultimately carrying out the required IT project work.
Monitoring various systems and resolving any reported issues in a timely manner.
Carry out general IT services as needed (e.g. all requirements for a new user).
Design and install network infrastructure, routers, switches, VoIP telephones.
