Where things are at right now
As you will be very aware, with an unprecedented amount of change in IT, the entire industry feels like it is scrambling to keep up with the very fast-paced, ever-changing environment across the entire IT arena. All of this is underpinned by dramatic and constant changes in AI technologies.
Everything is moving at such a rapid pace that keeping up to date has almost become a job in its own right!
We are finding the balance between staying at the cutting edge, while at the same time continuing to utilise tried and tested solutions that have also developed to keep pace. This has resulted in us partnering with trusted suppliers - spoiler alert, it’s Microsoft!
Avoiding outdated approaches and IT sprawl
Many other IT companies are still offering the same, years-old cookie-cutter solutions that are now completely out of touch with what is actually required, both now and in the future.
So, we’re deliberately avoiding IT sprawl - where solutions are scattered all over the place, while still keeping an eye on any shiny new “latest solution on the block”. That said, we prefer to let these newer tools reach version 2 before considering them as a truly viable option.
Why we’ve gone Microsoft-first
Instead, we are consolidating around a Microsoft Solutions‑first approach, as they have firmly returned to being market leaders in the race to become the “go‑to” supplier of AI-based tools within a single system.
With both OpenAI and Claude forming part of Microsoft’s own AI system, Copilot, it means everything can now sit in one place. No more juggling multiple licences or dealing with unnecessary IT sprawl.
A platform that’s improving every week
Microsoft are investing heavily in both technology and security, and they are improving week by week - we genuinely feel the difference every Monday morning!
This is our current approach and stance, and it means we can provide a platform that is not only secure and stable, but also cutting edge to operate from.
